The task was to design a stool with restrictions of used materials. We can only use plywood, steel and leather. I was trying to find a solutions to reduce production costs, while also minimizing an amount of residual material. The result is the wooden folding chair XOXO. It can be easily assembled without a use of glue or screws. Parts are firmly hammered together and withstand a load more than 100 kg even on edges of the seat. The stool is designed in several variations. A natural wooden stool with a laser burned edges, or color waterproof foiled. All wooded surfaces are protected against liquids with a transparent coating.
