GOLD LEAF 1.0 was my fourth completed furniture project after founding VIN'S ARCHI. STUDIO in July 2018. GOLD LEAF 1.0 is a stool. It was inspired by Poul Henningsen’s Snake Chair to get some new design stimulation.There were two main inspiration for me to design it. One was the shape of leaf. Another one was Snake Chair designed by Poul Henningsen in 1931. The chair frame is partly made reference to Snake Chair, and the seat is adopted as the leaf’s shape.
