My main purpose for this project was minimizing children’s awareness of being hospitalized. The product is designed to stimulate and appeal to children's imagination as well as to enable parents to venture outside the hospital environment with their children and provide them with a secure, comfortable and unconventional experience. I placed the IV bag behind the child to prevent it from being seen and being a distraction. The parent stands behind, but is always in eye contact. Color was very important as well. The colors I chose integrate with the hospital environment, but project positive feelings to the user.
